Wilwood 140-16859 AERO6 14" Front Road Race Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors for 1994-2004 Ford Mustang

The Wilwood AERO6 Big Brake Kit is configured with Aerolite six-piston calipers, BP-40 race compound SmartPad brake pads, and dynamic lug-drive Spec37 alloy staggered directional vane rotors. This combination is designed to deliver high capacity, consistent braking, and thermal stability for road racing, autocross, and track days. The AERO6R/ST six-piston radial-mount racing calipers used in this kit feature a forged aluminum body with a Type III Mil-Spec, medium gray color hard anodized finish and 20mm thick pads, and include a central bridge for less deflection. Spec37 alloy GT72 rotors are dynamically mounted with a single snap ring to allow thermal expansion. Forged aluminum lug-drive hats reduce rotational and unsprung weight and simplify installation. Kits include caliper mounting brackets and premium hardware.

*This Brake Kit requires 18-inch or larger wheels. Please refer to the wheel clearance diagram image to verify your specific wheel will fit. Road Race kits contain high-temperature racing brake pads. Extended low temperature use will cause premature rotor and pad wear.

Notes

This system includes Gray Calipers. Installation of Wilwood Disc Brake Kits may affect the wheel offset and will require a larger diameter wheel for caliper clearance.
