Spark Plug Wires and Glow Plug Wires
What are spark plug wires?
Spark plug wires (or ignition cables) carry high voltage current from the ignition coil(s) to the spark plugs. On older vehicles with distributors, the spark plug wires run from the distributor cap to the plugs, and come in different lengths to reach each spark plug. Some newer vehicles have coil packs on each bank, which allows the spark plug wires to be the same length, regardless of which cylinder the spark plug resides.
