Power Stop Extreme Performance brake pads were first introduced in 1996 as a better then OE problem solver for fleets, police, ambulances and racers. Over the years, Power Stop has earned a reputation for high quality. We CNC machine rotors right here in the USA to ensure consistent production tolerances and exceptional balance. Our friction products are performance tested in the labs and on the track.
Since then friction technology and braking requirements has evolved substantially. We have added 2 new series of disc brake pads, Power Stop Extreme Truck and Towing and Evolution Ceramic disc pads. The explosive growth of SUV's and trucks with larger wheels, increased gross vehicle weight and high horse power require increased braking power. In addition to the need for increased braking power, consumers demand no dust and no noise. Power Stop Delivers!

We agree! We have taken the confusion out of selecting the optimum disc pads for your vehicle by offering a specialized combination that address most vehicle and driving applications.
This package kit includes the following:
DRILLED ROTORS
Power Stop’s best selling rotor is engineered to keep your brakes cool. Air flows over and through the drilled holes to effectively dissipate heat and eliminate hot spots. The drilled holes are precision machined in Power Stop’s CNC machining centers. If you have ever experienced pulsating brakes and shaking steering wheel, then drilled rotors are for you. Warped rotor are caused by excessive heat and the uneven deposition of friction (so when you stop, don't clamp your brakes on the rotor when it gets hot, try to keep the car rolling a little, or put it in park and release the brake pads). Power Stop drilled rotors run 200 degrees cooler and prevent warped rotors. Each rotor is treated with a gold zinc dichromate finish to keep that new rotor look. The combination of drilled rotors and Power Stop Z series disc pads will give you shorter stopping distance without fade.
CARBON METALLIC MATRIX PADS
Power Stop Z26 Series of friction is engineered for severe duty braking conditions on import, domestic and SUV vehicles. The Z26 series has a carbon and steel matrix formula specifically engineered to resist fade under extreme braking conditions associated with repetitive stopping such as: police vehicles, ambulances, track racing, off-road racing, and street performance.
